Cross Post XP: Aeroflow breast pumps

Hello.  I came across a website that is willing to advocate on patients' behalf to get the insurance company to cover the cost of a breast pump.  I am in touch with my insurance carrier who explained that they only cover it if the baby is detained in the hospital or if the baby has a feeding problem.  I submitted the request through Aeroflow and I got a response that next day.  The representative explained to me that the majority of insurance carriers still do not know about the affordable healthcare act that requires states to cover breast pumps 100% and the company is still trying to educate insurance carriers on this policy.

If anyone is considering starting breast feeding and needs help working with their insurance, you may want to try a medical supply company like Aeroflow.
