how do i organize clothes for a boy?

currently, all his clothes are laid out on my bed in the size that they are, and what they are (short sleeved undershirt, long sleeved undershirt, regular shirt)

the dresser we're using has 4 drawers. Should I just group everything together according to size, regardless of what they are? should I hang anything?
