Baby "looks"

DH and I went to a birthday party for a close friend. 

There were lots of kids and babies there. Most of the babies were cute, but there was one "ugly" baby.

Now, I am sure this baby will grow up to be a super-cute toddler and a fine looking adult. I am sure it is just a phase. I am also sure that as parents, you think your child is the cutest, best, smartest kid ever.

DH and I stayed for a couple hours at the party and then left. We got into the car and were driving home when the subject of the baby came up. DH and I said we wonder if we will have an "ugly" baby. We were laughing and saying we are sure if our baby is ugly we won't notice. Most babies look kind of "funny" when they are little anyway. :-)

Anyone else think about this?
