GD Moms: Faulty blood sugar testing?

Has anyone tested and felt like the reading was wrong,so you test again and the reading is different,then you test again and its different again? What's up with that? My testing went from 127 to 132 to 123...I mean these test strips aren't exactly cheap.Has this happened to anyone else? The only reason I retest is bc I don't want my doc to put me on insulin especially if I don't feel it should be that high.
