on the topic of strollers

So we are shooting to do 2 under 2 due to my age and occupation. I'm 33 which isn't ancient but I work with radiation at my job and don't want to wait til I'm older due to increase chance of birth defects. So...while in the market for a stroller, should I just get a double? It makes more sense to me due to cost of getting a single and then having to buy a double again the next year or so. Is this a stupid idea? I am really leaning toward the citi mini double. WDYT?
