stroller help

Im a runner and I would like to continue running as soon as I am healed from birth. Any recommendations for jogger strollers with good infant attachments, a lot of what I am seeing in stores doesn't seem very safe for an infant.

 

Do I need two strollers? Could I get by with a just a good jogging stroller? are they practical for travel? Or do I also need a traditional stroller? 

 

Edit: thanks for the awesome info about infant attachments. It explains why I was feeling like they weren't very safe. They arent!  So that being the case what would be your recommendation for a lightweight easy to travel with regular stroller and it seems like BOB is the best for jogging?
