NBR: Unusual gifts

This Sunday is our 1st wedding anniversary (yay!) and for weeks DH has been talking about how we need new pots & pans. We both like cooking but he really loves it and always has some new recipe or idea he wants to try so he ends up doing most of the cooking. It has become such a regular occurrence for him to complain about the cookware we currently have that I bought him a really nice stainless steel set of cookware as his anniversary gift. One of my friends laughed when I told her about it and said that it was a weird gift to give someone, especially as an anniversary gift to a hubby. We laughed about it because I know it is not a usual gift but that's what he wants and I'm tired of hearing him complain of our current supply. I can't wait to see his face on Sunday when he opens it!
