Am I worrying over nothing?
On Monday I had my first ultrasound.
DH wasn't allowed back with me at first so I was a bit nervous. The ultrasound tech was quiet for the first 15 minutes which made me even more nervous. Long story short we finally got to see our baby and the heartbeat, and I think everything looked good. But what I'm curious about is when I asked the tech about the heartbeat she told me "oh I don't go over that with you, your doctor will at your next appointment." She didn't tell me the heart rate or even that it looked good. My appointment isn't until the 12th of April so I keep freaking myself out assuming the worst even though the tech didn't say anything was wrong. Am I overreacting? Are ultrasound techs not allowed to say anything about the baby? I'm new to all this so please feel free to tell me I'm being an idiot if necessary.
