Brief Intro and ? about Financing IVF
I don't post much, but I've been lurking here trying to learn as much about egg donation and embryo donation as possible. It has been encouraging to see your stories of success.
My DH and I have one DD and recently found that I'm a carrier of a genetic illness. So we will likely turn to either PIGD, egg donation, or embryo donation to give our DD a sinling and complete our family. It is all very new to me and a lot to learn. But I think my biggest concern is financing. We are scheduled to have our first appointment next month. What should I expect as far as options? Do most clinics have their own financing programs or do those of you who pay out of pocket find programs or obtain bank loans on your own?
