Attempt to strip membranes

So, I've officially been 1cm for three weeks now.  My doctor tried to strip my membranes today but couldn't do it -- NOT for lack of trying.  She didn't really ask if that was what I wanted, though, which I thought was strange.  Honestly, I really wasn't interested in it since it can sometimes do nothing.

Talk about pain.  Just... wow... and she didn't even really DO it.  I don't know if it was any less painful just because it didn't work.  I don't think I was very still for her.  I may have been a little wiggly.

The spotting is finally starting to taper off, but after lunch it was awful.  Definitely not the greatest experience if it doesn't help anything along.  Another appointment in a week.
