FTM anatomy scan question

So I had my 16 week appointment today and scheduled my 20 week appointment anatomy/gender scan. Well my 20 weeks is Monday April 1st so I asked her if we could move the appt up to the Friday before on March 29th becaus we have family coming in that weekend for Easter and we want to announce the gender in person. She said sure no problem but I would have my appointment with the nurse practitioner instead because she was off that day. It didn't seem to bother her but I guess I was thinking that for an anatomy scan I should see the Dr.? What is your opinion I guess on anatomy scans with the Dr. vs. the nurse practitioner?? Are the drs usually in the sonogram with you or do you just meet with them after? Just curious about your opinions or if I am crazy for even caring that my Dr. wont be there ? I could always push it back to Monday and meet with her I was just being anxious so I could tell family that weekend
