First Timer

I am a first time mom and this may seem like a dumb question but I am trying to get everything ready for my baby girl. I plan on breast feeding and pumping to build up my supply for when I go back to work. With that being said, what if breast feeding doesn't work for certain reasons, should I have a can or two of formula ready to hold me over? And I started my registry, does anyone have a preference of bottles? So many choices! Like I said I am a first timer so I don't want to be criticized, just looking for genuine advice. Thank you!
