Anyone else *not* doing a nursery?

DH and I live in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo. However, I am planning to keep LO in our room for at least the first six months, but probably longer. Because of this, I really have no plans to set up a nursery. 

I'm also setting up the second bathroom (which is in our room) as the baby's bathroom. It has a built in changing table and lots of cabinetry for diapers, wipes and gear.

The second bedroom is currently an office and it's at the total opposite end of the condo and DH and I both feel like that's too far away from mom and dad for an infant. 

So, I'm not really planning on doing the whole crib/ changing station/dresser/rocking chair/nursery thing, most of the time LO will be in our room and toys and gear can be stored in the office closet or living room storage.

Is there some reason I'm missing that I might want to set up a nursery? Obviously the second bedroom will be for LO when (s)he is older, but until then, I don't feel it's necessary.

What did you do if you're a STM? And FTMs, what are you planning?
