anyone try the ring to determine children and gender?

So you put a ring on a metal chain dangle it over your palm and if it turns in a circle it's for a girl and swings in a line it's for a boy, it'll stop between circle/line then stop completely and that's how many children you'll have

Has anyone tried this!? It's pretty fun real or not, and it was correct with both my girls and then it kept going with a line and then stopped completely (we want to try for a third hoping for a boy) 

So i'm curious if anyone has done this and it was correct, when i found it online lots of women said it was accurate.

And hey, a girl can hope right?
