csection and panties

I had a csection with DS 2 yrs ago and wasn't planning for it and my underwear band ran right across my staples. So I'm looking for some underwear that wont be in the way and wear pads this go round. I hated the mesh underwear they give you.

Any suggestions on underwear?? I'm not due till may but I'm hoping to be prepared and dh wont have to buy underwear for me.
