Breast feeding and airplanes

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything recently. Dh and I flew a lot before getting pregnant, and plan to afterwards with LO. One of the trips includes two 8 hour flights. That being said I'd rather not have to lug enough breast milk on, nor have to pump fresh stuff when I could easily just feed the baby myself.

Silly question, but is it illegal at all to breast feed on an airplane in my seat? Of course I don't plan on just popping my breast out in public, i'll have a cover. I thought I heard of a case though where a mom was fined for "public indecency" because another passenger was upset by her breastfeeding on the plane, even though she was fully covered. Anyone breast fed on a plane without getting sued?
