Am I feeling the baby move?

On Friday, I will be 18 weeks.  Over the past couple of days, I've been feeling random, spasm like movements in my sides and abdomen. Is this the baby moving or just things stretching out? Sometimes it feels like little flutters and sometimes it feels like a more aggressive.

DH was patting my belly a couple nights ago and swore he felt it move. He was nearly in tears, he was so excited, but I'm FTM not 100% sure it's baby moving in there. 

Is it normal to feel movements at this time? When did you start feeling your babies move?
