So I was watching my 5 month old niece the other day, and when I went to get her out of her crib from her nap I saw just about every SIDS risk you can think of- bumper, two blankets, head positioner, stuffed animals. I couldn't believe it. I mentioned this to my mom who feels pretty strongly that I should say something to SIL/MIL (who they live with and takes care of the baby during the day) but we really weren't sure how to go about it. I'm even more nervous because she just started rolling over the last couple days.
Is it my place to say something? I hate people that meddle and think they know everything but I feel like this is serious. Also, if I do, how should I go about it? Print out an article and give it to them? WWYD?
