If you have/had hermerroids, pls help

Sorry for the TMI on Monday morning! The only time I've had a hemorrhoids was after my son's birth. It was a small external one more in my perineum that went away without too much problem.

I think I may have them now but I don't know. I'm not constipated and haven't been. No straining or anything. No bleeding. But my anus area is very irritated it seems. It gets worse during the day. It's a burning feeling. But when I look with a hand mirror I don't see anything. Granted, I don't really know what I?m looking for! I started using tucks and prep h but it's not getting better.

Does this sound like hemorrhoids? What do I do? Can you recommend a cream that works. Is it okay to use one wiht cortisone when pregnant? Thanks and sorry for the gross question.
