Possible fifths disease exposure, REALLY?

My 19month old son was very sick last week. My husband caught it and then me. Towards the end of the week my son developed a bright red rash across his face (it looked like a bad sunburn or that someone had slapped him) with no fever. I called his pedi and they suspect fifths disease (which is a virus).

Thankfully my son is fine but exposure to this virus is apparently dangerous in pregnancy. I have to go get a blood test today to see if I have/had it recently. FX that I do not have it or apparently I have to be monitored weekly/bi weekly to check on the baby for viability. I am so thankful to be done with Hyperemesis from first tri (so far) but I thought I could have a break from stress for awhile.
