Smaller stomach?

February 2013 in 3rd Trimester

Today I'm 36wk and 5 days, had a doctor appt on Thursday and found out I'm already 50 percent effaced. Yesterday, I woke up to a noticeably smaller stomach by the hubby and family. I was thinking he was just sitting farther back.. Any ideas as to what's going on?
