Worried about cramping

For the past 3 or 4 days I have been having little twinges of pain very low in my abdomen.  The pain is not great but the persistence of those twinges is what worries me.  For the first day or two I did not worry and was in fact feeling sort of happy, like this was a growing pain type thing.  Now that it has continued for days and is not lessening, I am starting to get really worried.  I am not having any bleeding/spotting and, as I said, the pain is not great by any means.  I intend to make an appointment tomorrow, but is this something I should go to the emergency room for?  Honestly asking; I've never been through this before.  Thanks!
