Anything I can take to help congestion?

I am getting a nasty cold, and its just getting worse..What started as a sore throat and ears easily stopped by some Halls and Tylenol, has started to migrate into my chest and I am coughing up congestion and my throat is always sore....Anyone know what I can do to help? I still have to work...so sleeping all day is not on my agenda, though I may end up leaving early if I am sick enough...I fell asleep at work today, and my coworkers covered for me
