Anyone else w/ high BP?

I have been dealing with high blood pressure for about the last month. My doctor has been monitoring it closely and yesterday decided to put me on a HBP med. she is vey concerned and said its very "rare" to have high blood pressure this early in the pregnancy. She immediately sent me to have an ultrasound yesterday and baby looked good but now I'm a little freaked out. Anyone else have blood pressure problems or on HBP meds? I'm just hoping someone can tell me they had good luck with meds so I don't continue to worry so much!
