BCBS DE Highmark - Breast pumps

So our insurance will only cover rental of a breast pump if the baby is detained in the hospital or if the baby has some type of feeding condition they cover the purchase.  Sadly we didn't get looped into the wonderful change that occurred that mandated that most insurance companies cover breast pumps.  I'm still going to ask the lactation consultant about it in case she knows of loop holes but oh well.  I'll probably rent until I find one I like and then just pay out of pocket.  Have any of you had luck with the new medical insurance requirement to cover breast pumps?
