Shower at 26 weeks

What are your thoughts about a shower at 26 weeks on May 11th?? To early or ok timing??? I will be almost exactly 3 months out from due date ... Really it is the best time for my sister who is throwing it and also DH and I have a baby class every Saturday in June and I thought July would be to late... Thoughts? I know it's what works best for me and the host but maybe ladies who have had showers any pros or cons to it being a little earlier?? Thanks!!
