Any PurAmino (Nutramigen AA) users?

My son was recently put on PurAmino (formerly Nutramigen AA) due to a MSPI that did not clear up on regular Nutramigen. While on the regular Nutramigen, the poor little guy had extremely frequent, watery stools (almost at every feeding). However, now that he's on PurAmino (he's only been on it for about a day and a half now), it seems to be binding him up (his last BM was much more formed and hard). Anyone have any experience with this? Are there any acceptable remedies for constipation in a 6 week old beside rectal stimulation? Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
