contemplating quad screening

I have heard so many stories about women getting testing done for down sydrome, ect., getting a bad result, then when the baby is born it is perfectly healthy.. I have heard the opposite as well.. I understand wanting to be prepared if something is wrong, but even with good results and baby is born with something you still wont be prepared.. I really just dont want to end up with bad results and worry the rest of my pregnancy for no reason..I am nervous to get it done and I feel like if I opt out of the testing I can think about other things than worry..what do you think?
