80% effaced

I'm 8 days away from my due date. At my last appointment 3 days ago I was 80% effaced and not dilated. I really wish these measurements would actually tell me something, like how long I have. They seem rather pointless, like predicting the weather. Is there any sort of statistical chart out there or whatnot that might give me a vague ballpark range of when I will go into labor based on this info lol? I really want to go before my due date so as not to be induced. My doctor is induce happy due to my gestational diabetes
