Hello all!
I spent some time here last February prior to my MMC. Looks like I might have a pretty solid BFP this go-round. I know several of you from the Vets board and some of you from when I used to regularly hang out on IF...looking forward to getting to know those of you I haven't "met" yet.
By way of introduction, we've got a double whammy of DOR & obstructive azoo (unintentional side effect of double hernia surgery) and been through a few IVF/ICSI cycles (stimmed 4 times, made it to ER three times). This was our first cycle with a new RE, who bucked convention and suggested low-dose stims. Turns out that was a ticket for me, as opposed to my prior max dose cycles (better response and exceedingly better fert rate).
Monday's beta #1 (13dp3dt) was huge at 2127, yesterday's was 3367. At 72-hours doubling, I remain nervous -- but RE is happy with the number. And, as some awesome ladies around these parts have reminded me, beta #1 was a bit later than typical plus the doubling time slows down once the levels get high. I go in for more b/w and first u/s on 2/18. Not expecting to see much, but hoping that we see the gestational sac(s) and it/they are correctly placed. Also VERY curious to see how many there are since, for a variety of reasons, we transferred 3.
So hoping that I get to stick around for the long haul this time and really looking forward to getting to know everyone!
