heart beat?

I'm 15 weeks and some change. The last few doctor appointments I have had the doctor has tried to hear the heartbeat and is unable to. I'm super worried even though he says it's not uncommon and everything is fine. We have an appointment tomorrow to try again but I can't help but worry. Has anyone else not heard the heartbeat till later?
