I normally sleep on my back about 1/2 the time and my side the other half.
Mid-January I was sleeping (with my normal 2 or 3 pillows) and F-ed up my neck. I was in severe pain for 3 or 4 days. My usual "go to"s of my heating pad and Advil are off limits.
So I switched to this little square tempurpedic pillow. So far my neck has been better but it is not super-comfy. I expect I am going to have to stick with it for the rest of PG.
This weekend, I woke up Sunday in severe pain. Sleeping on my back had cut of circulation to my legs (I think) and my back and legs hurt for severely for two days.
My OB said my "body will tell me" when I can no longer sleep on my back. Message received.
So now I can only sleep on my side (I alternate) and my back has been better.
I get up every 2 or 3 hours to pee.
So this is how I get to sleep. 2 or 3 hours at a time with a little hard pillow on only one side of the other.
this sucks. August seems so far away...
