Email wording for pregnancy announcement

I've already told all my close family and friends that I'm pregnant and I'd like to send an email to "everybody else" (friends and distant family) but can't come up with any wording. This is what I have so far:

H and I are really excited to announce that we're expecting! 

I really want to express how excited we feel but suck with wording. Does anyone have any suggestions?
