Telling my students!

Wednesday I'm telling my students I'm pregnant. Excited! It's a weird situation because I work in the house my students live in on campus. It's like a boarding school in a way and I'm like their "mom". They are 12 girls ages range from 522. All have disabilities, but only a couple are cognitively delayed. So, I know some will totally understand and respond appropriately and some will not understand at all which is ok. What's important is I tell them all at the same time so no feelings get hurt. A couple of my older girls already suspect I'm expecting but I've just denied it. I'll probably play hangman with them to announce and then use some pictures to show them how the baby is developing. It's been so hard keeping it from them! I've taken care of some of these girls for 7 years now!!! My coworkers have been so awesome keeping the cat in the bag.
