I've only had one u/s at 7 weeks. Other appointments are doppler until our anatomy scan the end of March.

Where we live, there are no places that do elective u/s.

This coming weekend, we are going to NYC for a mini vacation. I googled and found an elective u/s place and am really tempted.

Pros- seeing the bean, see everything is okay, possibly finding the gender out.

Con- what if something is wrong? I'd hate to find out so far away from home. Spending an extra $50 for something "unnecessary."
