I can't help but wonder what would happen back in time when a women wasn't progressing through labor/has complications etc. C-Sections are so incredibly common these days...how was it taken care of in the past?
I heard of a woman whose cervix began to close after 41 weeks of pregnancy so they c-sectioned - I can't help but wonder, if this were early 1900's or before *maybe not even that long ago* how in the world was this dealt with?!
