Anyone else a carrier of Tay Sachs?

I found out just over a week ago that I am a carrier for Tay Sachs disease. The only reason we took the test was because my Husband is French Canadian. He had his blood work done just about a week ago - and we are anxiously awaiting the results. Hoping we find out today - but who knows with this Blizzard we are getting up here in New York.... 

 Of course, all I can do is remain positive and hope for the best. My family is baffled because I am not from Jewish or French Canadian decent...we shall see - just keep praying that all is good.  

 Did anyone else find out they were carriers?
