Delivery questions

February 2013 in 3rd Trimester

I am having anxiety about the actual delivery. I would prefer that my doctor be the one to deliver the baby but he is part of a group. So, whoever is on call is the one to deliver. Is it weird to ask him what their call schedule is like? Can I ask him if he is planning to be out of town around the time of my due date? Anyone with a similar experience?
