Finally told boss man

So I finally told boss man about me expecting and HR.

Didn't go as bad as I thought but wasnt as great as it could be.

I am the only one in the office that does what I do so I understand them not being so happy, but I am sorry I am not going to put a hold on my life for a job.

But I have heard horror stories of HR trying to screw women out of time they can take. Just know that HR will not advertise any extra programs nothing. My HR tried telling me that I only get 6wks not paid well nope sorry I live in NJ and I actually get 16wks paid but 22wks total off. (NJ and CA are the only 2 states that offer paid maternity leave options I think) a friend of mine her company also in NJ tried telling her she only gets 10wks not paid......she had dont a ton of research and also found out she gets 22wks....its terrible.
