Cancelled NT Scan

So as it turns out I have decided to cancel my first trimester screening which includes the NT scan.  I was looking forward to seeing my precious LO but my insurance apparently only allows 2 screening ultrasounds so it was either the NT scan or screening at 16 to 20 weeks.  And since we wouldn't change our minds about this baby no matter what, we have decided to forego it.  I just can't wait to see LO.  But I finally gave in and ordered a doppler to try out at home thanks to some other posts I saw the other day and I am hoping that being able to hear the HB will keep me at bay until the next ultrasound.  Anyone else having these issues to decide?
