Vent - MaterniT21 test screw up

So I took the M21 test over 2 weeks ago and yesterday at the MFM drs visit I asked about the results. They said the results did not come back yet. I reminded them that it was two weeks ago and asked if they could call and see what the hold up is. I call back today to see if they got any results and was told "glad you called, we just got the results this morning." And the results were .... they couldn't run the test because there was not enough genetic material in the sample. WTF?!?!?!

The nurse then tells me I would have to redo the test and she will find out if they are willing to not charge me for the second test. WTF!?!?!? are you kidding me? She asked if I had two tubes of blood drawn, I said yes, you did the test at your office! I told her I don't know if I will be able to get back there today to have it redone and she says I can come in at any time, at my convenience. Well that is just flipping great because i just waiting two weeks for you to tell me SH!T and now I am going to have to wait another two weeks for the results and possibly have to pay twice for the test.

And the effin nurse was so chippy and cheery I wanted to punch her over the phone.

Anyone ever heard of this happening? I bet they screwed up and don't want to admit it.
