ebf poop suddenly smells at 3.5 mths???

Hi there,

My son has been/is EBF-no introduction of anything new. Suddenly a couple weeks ago his poopy diapers stink! They used to be odorless or smell like buttered popcorn.

is this to be expected? i thought they don't smell until solids started.
