Increase in fetal movement!

Ok so don't think I'm crazy but, today LO has been going INSANE! I have never felt him move so much. So of course I google it and see where people said their LO had an increase in movement and then lost them. That it could be a sign of distress...after reading that, I called the doctor lol. He told me that an increase should be more reassuring and that a decrease would be something to worry about but if I wanted to ease my mind that I could go in and get monitored. I was curious if anyone has noticed a huge increase in movement around 39 weeks? I'm trying not to go in and get monitored so ladies please help to put my mind at ease!
