Update. My August plans are cancelled.

We lost the baby about an hour ago. It looked like a well developed, albeit twice-the-size-of-an-olive 8 week old. This would have been our first. We were never expecting something like this to happen. Funny story, we just told everyone Thursday that we were expecting. This is going to be a hard backpedal. I guess that's it. I'm going to call the ER tomorrow and see if I need to do any kind of follow up visit. Right now, I'm just going to try to sleep.
