Graduated from RE & Question about Stopping Progesterone

2nd US today. Yay! Baby measured 9wk 1day (I'll be 9 weeks in 3 more days. So it is in the scope of measurement error). Heartbeat 175 and the baby moved a lot and the doctor pointed out all the limbs. I am overjoyed.

Did any of your continue progesterone to week 12? I read that the placenta takes over progesterone production between 10 and 12 weeks. So taking progesterone to 12 weeks seems safest to me. At my fertility clinic, two weeks ago, one doctor told me I would taper off in weeks 10 to 12. Today, another doctor told me to stop at week 10. I spoke with a nurse to say I was concerned about stopping too early and she wrote me a prescription to continue progesterone to week 12.
