want more this time

My LO is now 2 yrs old and we are trying for another. He wouldn't latch so, they gave me a shield to use which was horrible. I pumped as long as I could but gave up after 3 months. This time, I want to do everything I can to increase my supply to the point that I woud be able to give my older child a glass of BM daily but still give the new baby all that he/she needs. What suggestions do you have? Also my LO has multiple food allergies so, I will have a strict diet and fenugreek is not an option due to it being similar to peanuts (in the same family) and he has a peanut allergy.
