XP:Spotting with Multiples....

Good morning....I have been spotting on and off for the past week....dark brown and thick, like mucus. i called my nurse last week and she said its most likely from the progestorne I am on (we did IVF). I also mentioned it to my doctor when I went for my U/S. She also said not to worry, probably from the meds and being triplets. My question to any of you is did this happen to you? Also how did it last? I know its common but I am just wondering how long it will go on. I am always worrying that it will progress into something more.
