Got our doppler

Got our doppler yesterday and it was wonderful hearing baby's heartbeat at home. My hubby loved it. Was afraid to try it after I had done it for awhile and found baby on my left side. But once I helped him a little to show how much to press and he found baby he was so proud. And of course baby would stay perfectly still for him where I had to chase her/him all around lol. It was great I think a great bonding experience for DH and really helped him be a part of the pregnancy in this early stage. Oh btw I'm 12 weeks today yay!!! Found baby about 2 inches above my pubic bone, does that sound right for being 12 weeks? I can never really feel or tell where my uterus is and not sure where exactly or how close it has to be for the doppler to pick it up.
