?s from IF: Reasons behind # of embryos transferred

Hi Ladies! Congrats on all your pregnancies, I hope to be joining you all very soon! 

I'm posting from IF and I'm currently going through my first IVF cycle. We were told yesterday that we will be doing a 5 day transfer. As for how many to transfer, my DH and I have been going back and forth between 1 and 2. We're taking a lot of factors into mind (are we ok with twins (yes), would we feel like we should have done 2 after the fact, risks associated with twins, etc.), but I wanted to see if you all wouldn't mind answering a few questions about your reasons behind the # you transferred so I can see if there is anything else we need to keep in mind when making this decision.
