Re-lactating

I was just wondering if anyone could offer any advice or experiences with re-lactating. I didn't even know this was something that could be done. Our L&D was surrounded by drama and I have been told all the stress is probably what never caused my milk to fully come in the first time around. My daddy passed away the day before my daughter was due. She came 2 days late on the day of his funeral, and ended up spending 8 days in the NICU. I am not even sure I could produce milk again since she is 4 months old and we stopped breastfeeding or pumping when she was around 8 weeks.
